MT mid-sized steam turbine for power and cogeneration

INDUSTRIAL STEAM TURBINES PRODUCT SOLUTIONS
MT Steam Turbine
Mid-Sized Turbine
With more than 100
years of experience in
steam turbine technology,
Alstom offers a highly
efficient steam turbine,
optimised for utility and
independent power
production, renewable,
cogeneration and waste toenergy applications.
A highly efficient and robust concept
With superior efficiency and power production, the MT steam turbine offers
customers a robust design based on highly integrated standard modules. Its
modular concept — with proven technology and additional design features to
simplify the power plant’s foundation — results in reduced plant capital costs.
The MT design utilises Alstom’s experience in steam turbine and combines it
with the latest advances in blade profiles and steam flows to deliver a truly
modern turbine, which is adapted to today’s power plant and industrial plant
operator’s needs. Thanks to the flexibility of the design, the MT is available in
reheat and non-reheat configurations with axial and downward exhaust
options allowing it to be integrated into any plant configuration.
