This is realized through the effort and
enthusiasm of Del Carmen Mayor, JR Coro.
He learned of the Philippine Science Centrum
from his son who saw it featured in Umagang

ADVENTURES IN DISCOVERY TRAVELING EXHIBITION IN SIARGAO ISLAND (continuation..)
Initially, transporting the exhibits to the
island and funding loomed as difficult
'roadblocks'. But, the dynamic tandem
of Mayor Coro and Ms. Pagsinohin found
a way to eliminate these roadblocks.
Sponsors were convinced to support the
exhibition. Then, a trucking company
agreed to the task of transporting the
exhibits from Marikina City to Del
Carmen town of Siargao via the nautical
highway which is a 'first' of its kind in
terms of transporting the exhibits to its
venue. After traversing 1,141 kms. and
crossing three port to port systems
(Matnog, Sorsogon-Allen, Samar, Liloan,
So. Leyte-Surigao City and Surigao CityDapa, Siargao Island) along the way, the
