Top Ten Reasons From God’s Word
That I Get to Give
1. I get to grow more godly.
God so loved the world that He gave his only Son..." John 3:16
2. I get to connect with the heart of God.
"Where your treasure is, there your heart is also." Matthew 6:21
3. I get to show that God is first place in my life.
"The purpose of tithing is to teach you to always put God in first place in your life."
Deuteronomy 14:23
4. I get to say thanks to God.
"Always remember that it is the Lord your God who gives you the ability to produce
wealth." Deuteronomy 8:18
"How can I repay the Lord for all His goodness to me?" Psalm 116:12
5. I get to grow in my faith.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Honor the Lord by giving him the first part of your income, and He will fill your
barns to overflowing." Proverbs 3:5,9
6. I get to live happy.
Jesus said, "There is more happiness in giving than in receiving.” Acts 20:35
7. I get to prove God exists and wants to bless me!
"Bring your whole tithe to My storehouse. Test me in this" says the Lord, "and see if
I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing
that you won't have room enough for it! I will prevent pests from devouring your
crops and the vines in your fields will be protected from plagues." Malachi 3:10
8. I get to bless other people.
“Right now you have plenty and can help those who are in need. Later, they will
have plenty and can share with you when you need it. In this way, things will be
equal.” 2 Corinthians 8:14

9. I get to be a part of what God is doing to save the world!
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything
I have commanded you." Matthew 28:19-20
So we ourselves should support them so that we can be their partners as they teach
the truth. 3 John 1:8
10. I get to open my hands to a God who won’t be out-given!
Give and it will be given to you. For with the measure you use it will be measured
