If this is true, how would you describe the trunk of the tree? How are the three major holy books of the monotheistic faiths both similar and different? How are the basic beliefs of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam alike? What types of internal differences and divisions exist within each religion? What characteristics and beliefs of the three religions make them different? Step 2: your turn to write two questions of your own that you would like to ask any of the religious figures discussed in the lesson (ex. Jesus, Mohammad, Moses). You should also write sample answers to the two questions you create. Look at the objectives listed in the beginning of the module Take notes on those and be ready to compare and contrast the Empires and religions mentioned in the module. Vocab, dates, and places are important BUT be ready to tell us WHY and HOW they are important Be ready to reference the primary and secondary resources mentioned in the module and how the apply to the Byzantine Empire Be ready to, in detail, discuss all aspects of the Byzantine Empire. Set a time with your teacher when you are free from distraction and can focus on the DBA NOW CALL YOUR TEACHER! DBA EXAMPLE I am going to call my teacher for my DBA! I’m so happy you called for your DBA!!! You rock!!! Plan on the call lasting about 10-15 min. Please be where you can focus on the call. Try to have a parent there as well and we can do your monthly call and tell your parent how GREAT you do on the DBA.
