(BSIS) GUARD CARDS
Any Person that wishes to become a Security Officer in the State of California, must first
successfully complete the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services (BSIS) Guard Card
Training.
BAPTIST SECURITY TRAINING (BST) will provide the Documentation you need
to submit to (BSIS), after successful completion of this training.
(STEP#1): MAIL THE FOLLOWING TO (BST) MAILBOX ADDRESS BELOW
A.
($80.00) MONEY ORDER / CHECK / CREDIT CARD payable to (BST)
B.
A copy of your DRIVERS LICENSE / IDENTIFICATION CARD
C.
Make sure to include your TELEPHONE NUMBER (Cellular Preferred)
D.
After (BST) receive the items listed in (A–B–C), (BST) will CALL you to Schedule
an Appointment (You Choose The Training Date)
(STEP#2): ATTEND THE (BSIS) GUARD CARD TRAINING COURSE
A.
This training consist of: Power To Arrest / Search / Seizure,
Weapons of Mass Destruction and Terrorism Awareness
B.
You must pass the (BSIS) Power To Arrest Final Examination
C.
You can study the (BSIS) Guard Card Training Manual before attending the training


(STEP#3): SUBMIT TO (BSIS) TO COMPLETE THE ISSUING PROCESS

The completed Application For Security Guard Form
B.
The completed Livescan Electronic Fingerprinting Form
(This Seperate Fee Must Be Paid To The Livescan Operator)
C.
($50.00) CHECK or Money Order payable to (BSIS)
D.
Always keep copies of all your forms prior to mailing the originals

Your Guard Card will be valid for Two (2) Years from Date of Issue

Always carry your Guard Card when you are On Duty

If your Mailing Address Changes, inform (BSIS) within Thirty (30) Days
F.
(BSIS) will mail you a Guard Card Renewal Form
