Tutoring Centers Around UT Campus
Sanger Learning & Career Center (SLCC)
For a small fee, the Sanger Learning & Career Center provides one-on-one appointment tutoring for many
lower-division UT classes. Drop-In Tutoring is a free service to all currently enrolled UT students. Located in
JES A115, the Drop-in Tutoring Center offers an open study hall for students in introductory math, physics and
chemistry courses.
Undergraduate Writing Center
The Undergraduate Writing Center provides professional advice on all aspects of writing. Walk-ins are
welcome. The Center is open Monday –Thursday, 9:00am – 7:00pm and Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm in the
Flawn Academic Center (FAC) 211. You may also call the Undergraduate Writing Center at 512-471-6222.
Jester and Kinsolving Academic Community Center Tutoring
Free tutoring and study groups are offered in Chemistry, Math, Physics, Biology, and Engineering
(Architectural, Aerospace, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical) courses. Engineering
graduate students and upper class engineering majors staff these study tables. See

Engineering Departmental Tutoring
Free tutoring is available through the Cockrell School of Engineering departments. Tutoring is offered in select
classes that are required in their degree plans.
ACE Tutoring
Get free tutoring through the Achieving College Excellence (ACE) Program in The Office of the Dean of
Students (tutoring coordinated by the Sanger Learning & Career Center). Please call 471-1205 for an initial
appointment with an ACE staff member.
