Course Requirements:

1.

Attend class daily, arriving on time.

2.

Make up work when absent- contact me and send assignments due electronically. Two class days will be allotted make up excused absence assignments. Missed tests and quizzes will have to be scheduled within one week of your return.

3.

Keep up with readings and assignments to better prepare for the AP exam on May 6.

Grading:

Grades will be based on total points earned divided by total points possible. Grades are made available daily on Infinite

Campus. Final grades will be computed in December and May.

Assessments:

Quizzes- reading and geography quizzes. Students may or may not get notice. Worth 20-30 points.

Homework/ In-Class Assignments- Most homework will be reading assignments with questions; however there will be different assignments periodically.

Tests- All tests will be announced and will be comprehensive.

Essays- DBQs and FRQs will be assigned throughout the course along with one research based project.
