Have you ever tried (and failed) to implement change?
Whether it’s a multi-million dollar initiative or a relatively small process improvement, change is a daily reality in
our jobs—and we’re regularly called upon to lead or support it. Back by popular demand, this course will help
you know and anticipate reasons people resist change and provide useful strategies for success. You’ll also
receive a handy tool to analyze whether your change initiative is ready to launch.

How to Get What You Want and Still Get Along
WEBCAST: Tuesday, June 24 10:00-11:00 (CT) | CARTHAGE CLASS: Thursday, June 26 10:00-11:30 (CT)
When most of us think of “negotiation,” we picture haggling with a used car salesman…
…or executives around a conference table. But we negotiate every day with our family members, friends, and
co-workers. These informal negotiations are often more about finding a way to get along than getting exactly
what we want. In this course, we’ll explore ways to become more effective negotiators in work relationships,
client conference rooms and at the family dinner table.

Do you struggle to give employees useful feedback…or any feedback at all?
You’re not alone. Research has found that only one in three managers provide timely, constructive
comments—even though it’s the simplest way to increase performance and retention. Why do we struggle?
Because giving feedback is a skill that has to be learned. This class can help you get started.

picture in mind.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will I receive confirmation after enrolling in a course?
Yes, you will receive an email confirmation within one week of enrolling. If you don’t receive confirmation, let us
know.
2. Can several people from the same location sign up for a course together?
Yes! If they are all Team Talent participants, we actually encourage teams to register for the same course.
This will promote collaboration and dialogue as you continue to meet management challenges. However, each
person does need to enroll individually.
3. I have several employees who aren’t in Team Talent. Can they register for these courses?
Only Team Talent participants are eligible for these courses; however we hope to offer classes for a wider
group of participants in the future.
4. I hired an employee after this year’s new Team Talent participants were added. Can he or she
enroll in an HMM course?
We will consider enrolling new employees if: (1) they will likely join Team Talent in 2014 and (2) licenses are
still available. To see if a new employee qualifies, contact Alissa Owsley.
5. Whom should I contact for more information?
