Tarea: Read the following legends from the book : 8, 10, 11, 14, 15.
For legends # 8, 10 & 11, answer the questions and do the activities that
follow each story: please do these on separate paper and label each
activity appropriately. For legend # 11, find a painting online by
Murillo and make a copy of it. Include the title and context of the
painting.
Definition: A traditional historical tale (or collection of related tales) popularly regarded
as true but usually containing a mixture of fact and fiction.
Next, for the other 2 legends (#s 14 & 15), prepare a PowerPoint or
handwrite on paper including the following:
1) Slide 1: title of the legend and authors, with your name too
2) Slide 2-5: legend # 1: title, summary, description of main characters,
historical context: explanation of the historical event/time period
portrayed in the story, your opinion of the legend
