From its plant in La Muela, BREMBO offers a solution for each of its customers’ needs as well as for the market as a whole through manufacturing the entire range of brakes for original equipment and also for spare parts. MANN+HUMMEL has been producing filters, ducts and technical parts for cars, trucks and machines in Zaragoza for 50 years; their filters can be found inside the engine compartments of most European carmakers, while their well known brand MANNFILTER is amongst the leading brands in the aftermarket. It currently employs almost 700 people at their manufacturing and logistics premises in PLAZA, using state-of-the-art processes for plastic injection, blow-molding and filter elements. VALEO TÉRMICO S.A. Valeo Térmico S.A specializes in the design, validation, manufacturing and supply to customers worldwide of engine cooling and HVAC products. In Zaragoza, this French company has established its worldwide research and development centre for engine heat exchangers (EGRC/OC) being responsible for the development and validation of new technologies in these fields. A team of over 40 people is developing products for 14 OEM clients from all over the world. The car industry is an ongoing challenge for steel manufacturers. ArcelorMittal, the largest steel producer in the world, through its Tailored Blanks Zaragoza plant distributes new types of steel for the automotive industry which allow it produce safer, environmentally friendly cars. ArcelorMittal and the car industry have chosen Aragón as a logistics platform for its excellent location, close to major markets in the sector. Fujikura Automotive Europe (FAE SAU), carries out all its R&D, commercial and manufacturing operations relating to its automotive products from its European HQ in Zaragoza.
