of Faith
The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of
heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only
Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy
Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under
Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;
He descended into hell; the third day He rose again
from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and
sitteth on the right hand of God the Father
Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the
quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost;
the holy catholic* church, the communion of
saints, the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of
the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
THE SACRAMENT OF THE LORD’S SUPPER
A special thanks is expressed to our church family, and
especially to our ladies, for your labor of love in hosting the
annual meeting of Grace Presbytery Women in the Church this
past Tuesday. Thank you, NCPC ladies, for showing your
devotion to the church and to our Savior in such a manner!
“The Lord’s Supper is a sacrament, in which bread and wine are
given and received as Christ directed to proclaim His death. Those
who receive the Lord’s Supper in the right way share in His body and
blood with all His benefits, not physically but by faith, and become
spiritually stronger and grow in grace.”
WIC Circles meet this week...the Evening Circle on Monday
at 6:00 pm and the Morning Circle on Tuesday at 9:30 am.
“The right way to receive the Lord’s Supper is to examine whether
we discern the Lord’s body, whether our faith feeds on Him, and
whether we have repentance, love, and a new obedience - so that we
may not come in the wrong way and eat and drink judgment on
ourselves.”

“The chief work of the day and its bookends are the morning
and evening public worship services. God gives us a whole day
so that we may prepare, worship, and reflect. Public worship is
God’s chief means of grace and the time of greatest communion
with Him.”
