The panel will discuss on the importance of transparency and disclosure by charities (i.e. to have
best practices so to be able to gain the trust of corporate donors) and also to briefly touch on the
Charity Transparency Framework and Scorecard. Tips on financial accounting and reporting will
also be discussed.

Panel Discussion (III): Funding Evaluation and Partnerships Between For-Profit
Organisations and Non-Profit Organisations
The panel will discuss what corporate donors and grantmakers look for in a charity before
supporting its cause, whether monetary or otherwise. From the other angle, charities will also
share their perspective on the areas which they require support in, and difficulties in meeting
the requirements of corporate supporters.
