The Client:
Largest Fertilizer manufacturing company in India.
Business Need:
The client required an application that would enable the online data entry in SAP at Rail Head.
Challenges:
Since many activities are performed at Rail Head such as Goods Receipt, Goods Issue to own Godown,
Sales, Billing etc after arrival of Fertilizer Rake, user find it very difficult to enter these in SAP since at
the same time he had to perform the manual verification of Trucks passing by.
Hence these data were noted manually in seperate register and entered in SAP at later point of time.
This resulted in incorrect stock position at any date, reporting errors, missing of data etc
Solutions:
CCS provided the solution through SAP Materials Management and Sales & Distribution Module. We
developed an interface in SAP for automation, by which user can get all the data for the activities such
as Goods Receipt at Rail Head, Goods Issue, Sales, Billing etc in a single user friendly screen without
hindering the standard functionality. Just he need to select the reference data, enter the minimum
data in screen and execution.
