Study ACCA full-time with BPP University
Seven reasons why you should study ACCA full-time with BPP University
Your programme
• Expert tuition: double Platinum-approved expert tuition from tutors with practical experience
BPP University is proud of its dedicated ACCA full-time team. Our module leaders have a
wealth of experience in delivering ACCA programmes and are responsible for the full-time
programme and resources.
• Pass rates: performance and pass rates which consistently exceed ACCA’s Platinum targets
• Part-time work: opportunity to work part-time around your full-time programme of study
• Study tips and exam support: a proven model based on our three step approach of ‘learn
- practice - rehearse’ which is embedded in an integrated programme
• Best UK locations: study in some of the UK’s leading cities - London, Birmingham,
Manchester and Leeds
• Flexible ways to study: exam-focused online learning resources and support via Virtual
Learning Environment in addition to your face to face classes
• BPP Learning Media: is the only ACCA Platinum-approved provider for materials which are
used in all classes
Our programme offers the ideal combination of regular face-to-face tuition supported by online
resources which you can access any time you need to. This is ideal so that you can study at a
steady pace and have the reassurance of specific study times at a specific location. Our expert
tutors bring their passion, enthusiasm and industry experience to the classroom, making
sessions highly engaging and motivational. They will focus on the key things you need to know
and the skills you need to be successful in exams, and will ensure that you receive all the
support you need – in and out of the classroom – to make the most of your personal study time.
The online resources include a comprehensive suite of online lectures and the ability to interact
with your tutors and fellow students through our online forums.
Your formula for exam success
Embedded in your integrated programme of study is BPP’s formula for exam success: ‘learn-practicerehearse’.
Our expert tutors will guide you through the syllabus content using our market leading course notes,
ensuring that you fully understand what you need to know and how to apply it in the exam. They will
pay particular attention to ensuring that you really understand how to correctly interpret
requirements and will enable you to practice and develop your skills in a supportive environment.
The full range of exam skills will be covered – from understanding exactly what the examiner wants,
to planning your answers and presenting them in a way that gets the most marks, all whilst managing
your time. Key syllabus topics are recapped in a very efficient way, and priorities for the exam clearly
identified. Our revision notes summarise all the syllabus knowledge you need to comfortably pass the
exam, and our Practice and Revision Kit includes all questions and answers from the current syllabus.
At BPP University we think it is really important that you get the opportunity to practice an exam and
get feedback on how to improve. Your programme will provide appropriate opportunities for this with
the use of past exam questions and clear guidance from your tutor. Towards the end of the
programme, you will have the opportunity to sit a realistic ‘mock exam’ under time conditions so that
you can assess your performance under pressure and therefore target your revision in the final few
days before the exam appropriately.

How to progress through your qualification
The ACCA exams are divided into two levels: Fundamentals and Professional.
Fundamentals level
The Fundamentals level is divided
into two modules – Knowledge and
Skills.
The Knowledge module introduces
you to the core areas of financial and
management accounting tested
across three papers.
F1 Accountant in Business
F2 Management Accounting
F3 Financial Accounting
The Skills module comprehensively
covers the main technical areas of
law, performance management,
taxation, financial reporting, auditing
and financial management. The Skills
module is positioned at an
intellectual level equivalent to a

Professional Level
The Professional level is divided into
two modules – Essentials and
Options. Both of the modules at
Professional level have been set at
the same ability level as a Masters
degree.
The Essentials module has three
exams which build upon the
technical skills acquired at
throughout the Fundamentals Level.
They explore advanced professional
skills, techniques and values that you
will require to act as an expert
accountant in an advisory or
consultancy role at senior level.
P1 Governance, Risk and Ethics
P2 Corporate Reporting
P3 Business Analysis
At Knowledge Level
The Options module builds on the
technical knowledge you will already
have. Your choices here allow you to
specialise in your areas of interest
and to prepare for specific careers in
industry or practice. Our tutors will
be happy to advise you on the best
combinations for you.
