Day 1: Sunday, July 19, 2015 San
Francisco, California - Tour Begins
Your tour opens as you join us in
exciting San Francisco, “The City by
the Bay.” Tonight, get to know your
fellow travelers during a welcome
dinner on Pier 39, overlooking
beautiful San Francisco Bay, and
savor postcard views of the Golden
Gate and Bay bridges, Alcatraz and
the San Francisco Bay. (D)
Day 2: Monday, July 20, 2015 San
Francisco After breakfast we meet a
local guide for a sightseeing tour of
the city. Highlights include the Twin
Peaks, Seal Rocks and the Golden
Gate Bridge. Your afternoon is at
leisure to explore the shops at either
Fisherman’s Wharf or Union Square.
Perhaps you’ll take a ride up and
down the city’s thrilling hills on a
classic cable car. (B)
Day 3: Tuesday, July 21, 2015 San
Francisco - Napa Valley - San
Francisco Travel to the lush Napa
Valley. With over 40 premium
wineries, it is one of the most famous
wine-growing regions in the country.
Experience a delicious lunch in an
elegantly restored Pullman car on
the Napa Valley Wine Train. (B, L)
Day 4: Wednesday, July 22, 2015 San
Francisco - Monterey - San Francisco
Travel to Monterey, the city often
called the greatest meeting of land,
sea and sky. Monterey is home to the
famed 17 Mile Drive, one of the most
breathtaking coastlines in the world.
On your drive you will pass through
the Del Monte Forest and see such
famous sights as the Lone Cypress
Tree, perhaps the most photographed
tree in the world; Seal Rock, where
the seals may actually bark at you; and
the renowned Pebble Beach Golf
Course*. Next, we head to Old
Monterey, the place where
California’s statehood began in 1849,
which is filled with lovingly restored
historic buildings and Spanish adobes.
An afternoon arrival will allow you
time to independently explore
charming Old Monterey and shop at
Cannery Row, made famous by John
Steinbeck. Enjoy dinner in Monterey
before returning to San Francisco. (B,

Day 5: Thursday, July 23, 2015 San
Francisco - Tour Ends Your tour
comes to a close today, leaving you
with many pleasant memories of your
San Francisco tour.

To complete your tour, we include roundtrip
airport-to-hotel transfers when purchasing
Collette airfare with your tour. If you have
arranged for your own air, we are pleased to
provide you the option of purchasing these
transfers. Please note that all transfers will
leave at pre-scheduled times.
*Pebble Beach is closed during pro-golf
tournaments.
This tour requires average physical activity. You
should be in good health, able to climb stairs
and walk reasonable distances, possibly over
uneven grounds and cobblestone streets.

Due to tour scheduling, flights on Day 1 should
arrive prior to 4:00 PM.
Air rate and schedule are applicable for groups
of 10 or more traveling on the same flights and
dates.
A deposit of $250 per person due upon
reservation. Reservations are made on a first
come, first served basis. Reservations made
after the seat reduction date of January 12,
2015 are based upon availability. Final payment
due by May 20, 2015. After January 19, 2015,
penalties will apply.
