The College of DuPage is the largest single-campus community college in the nation outside of
California, with an enrollment of more than 31,000 students. The school’s Student Resource Center
(SRC) sits at the heart of the campus and is one of the most trafficked buildings, as it houses financial
aid offices, meeting rooms, an admissions office, an information desk, campus bookstore and the
school’s main dining hall.
Challenge: Find a durable material that will withstand the constant flow of foot traffic through
the college’s SRC and provide the underfoot comfort and low-maintenance requirements necessary
in the dining hall and food service areas.
