TheStudentCenterisaself‐servicepagethatprovidesstudentsanentrytotheHUB.Alongwith
MyUB,itprovidesnavigationtotoolsandinformationthatareimportanttoyou.Toreachthe
StudentCenterclicktheStudentCentertabfromMyUB.Inthistutorialwewillreviewhowto
applyforgraduation.
StudentsshouldApplyforGraduationbytherequireddeadline,butnotuntiltheyarecertainthey
arereadytograduateandintherightprogram,major,minor,and/orconcentration.
ImpactsofApplyingtoGraduate:Onceyouhaveappliedtograduate,yourUBenrollment
statusbecomeDegreeApplicantandhasthefollowingimpacts:
1.Providesanindicatoronyouracademicrecordthattellsthesystemyoudonotneedtoregister
infuturesemesters.IfyoudowishtocontinuetoregisterasaUBstudentinoneofthefollowing
categories,pleasetakethenecessarystepstoupdateyourstatus:

AreyouplanningoncompletingalltheMajorslisted?
KeepinmindthatifyouhavemultiplePrograms,youwillneedtorepeatthegraduation
applicationforeachseparateprogram(e.g.EngineeringandCollegeofArtsandSciences).
YoucannotapplyforgraduationintheSAMEprogrammorethanonce.Ifyoutrytoapplya
secondtime,youwillreceiveanerrormessage.
DoNOTcompletetheApplyforGraduationsectionuntilalloftheinformationinaccurate.Ifany
oftheinformationintheMyProgramsectionisnotlistedaccurately,immediatelygotothe
respectiveAcademicDepartment.

orcertificatesthatyouappliedfor,yourdegreewillbeconferredonorshortlyaftertheconferraldate
(June1,September1,orFebruary1).Yourdiplomawillbemailedapproximatelysix(6)weeksfrom
theconferraldate.
