SEISKAYA BALLET SUMMER PROGRAM
Welcome to Seiskaya Ballet. This is one time when being in summer school is meant to be a lot of fun. First
off: there is no specific dress code during the summer other than observing rules of good taste and good
repair. Second: the annual registration fee does not apply. And third: tuition may be paid for the whole
summer at one time. Extra classes can later be added on at the most favorable class rate.
The Seiskaya Summer Program is a great way to get acquainted with the Seiskaya teaching methodology in a
relaxed atmosphere. Our classes are always open for viewing. Experienced staff and spacious studios will
ensure that your experience is pleasant and rewarding. Classes are offered from Starting Beginner through
Advanced with sufficient frequency to allow for several choices or added classes. Our instructors will be happy
to discuss your child’s progress at Seiskaya and suggest possible options for the Fall. The Directors and staff
look forward to being of service to you.
Although a stringent policy, summer makeup classes are available only during the summer session; unless the
missed class is during the last week of the session. In that event, an additional class will be added to the
following month's card provided: 1) that the student purchases the appropriate number of classes based on the
student’s established frequency of attendance, and 2) the student takes the total number of scheduled classes
offered during the month. For example, a student attending once a week on Saturdays misses the last class
meeting of a calendar month in which there were four Saturdays. The following month has five Saturdays.
Seiskaya will recognize, with the purchase of five classes, the addition of one extra class which may be made
up at any time during the succeeding month. If, for some reason, a student elects to purchase less than the
scheduled class meetings, there will be no makeup awarded. Makeups are a privilege, and students are
not permitted to "short" the tuition in order to utilize unused classes. Students are permitted without
prior notice to take another class section at the same or lower class level. In the infrequent event a class
becomes too large because of makeup students, an instructor has the right to ask makeup students not to
participate. Expired cards cannot be honored for classes even if unused classes are shown on your
card.
Discipline - Behavior codes must be adhered to in order to maintain decorum. The directors reserve the
unrestricted right to dismiss any student for any reason whatsoever without prior notice. All tuition and
fees are forfeit upon notice of dismissal. Class schedules and teacher assignments are subject to
change, and students should periodically look for posted notices.
Business considerations require that we receive prompt payment of tuition in order to maintain the lowest rates
possible. Payment is expected in full at the beginning of each month or at the beginning of the Summer
Course. Family Plan: Students from the same family are permitted to buy a joint card in order to lower tuition
costs. All 90 minute classes are $20 each and are not subject to a frequency discount. Please pay by
check payable to: Seiskaya Ballet.
