Orders of Protection/Restraining Orders that also provide financial provisions as well as access to the home, temporary child custody arrangements, and ordering abusers into Batterers Intervention Programs. 2. Domestic violence hotlines and shelters 3. Specialized counseling for adult victims and children who are exposed 4. Relocation assistance and monetary compensation through the Victims of Crime Compensation Board 5. Trained Domestic Violence Advocates who can assist with: safety planning which is especially critical when preparing to leave and right after leaving an abusive relationship, assistance with applying for Orders of Protection/Restraining Orders as well as court accompaniment 6. Participants include those who are court-ordered and those who join voluntarily. This 26-session program helps men take responsibility for their choices and behaviors in relationships.
