Over the past few years U.S. businesses have increasingly relied on suppliers and sub-suppliers from around the
world who delivered on their promises of efficiencies and cost. However, these benefits are now being tempered
by a combination of forces: greater regulatory scrutiny in the U.S.; an altered manufacturing landscape overseas;
shortages of raw materials; volatility in energy prices; the fluctuating dollar...the list goes on and on. With adulterators getting smarter, what can YOU do to protect your company both domestically and globally? How will
the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) impact the supply chain? What do you need to do to comply? What
new requirements will be needed from suppliers? What analytical methods can be used for product authentication?
