Police Officer were dispatched to a call
concerning a injuring/sick call at Spring Branch
room CO1. Officer arrived at apprximately 0920
hours and found HCCS employee had tripped
over the trash can in her office. The employee
refused EMS to be called to this location. Officer
gathered all information needed to complete this
report. EMS was refused by the complainant.
Officer did not observe any brusing or redness
on the complainant's hand from the fall at this
time. The complainant was informed to contact
her supervisor to inform him of this incident. No
further actions were requested of this officer.

pains and feeling dizzy. The incident occured at

On 01/03/2011 at approximately 1120 HCC
Police Officers were informed about a lost/
stolen I-20 Form at 1205 Holman Street,
Houston, Texas 77004 . Officers arrived at
approximately 1125 and after investigation
determined that the I-20 Form was lost or stolen
did occur. Officers interviewed the complainant,
at the campus police office in regards to a lost/
stolen I-20 Form. I then checked the lost and
found in the campus police office and was
unable to locate the missing I-20 Form. I then
contacted Sergeant assigned to investigations
about this case and informed him about the lost
I-20 Form. The complainant advised me that he
needed a case number to get another I-20 Form.
I then called dispatch for case numbers and
collected information needed to generate this
report.

On Wednesday,January 05,2011at
approximately 1:04 p.m. HCC Police Officer
was assigned to 2811 Hayes Aleif Campus
when I Officer heard the fire alarm sounding
inside the building. Officer immediately begin to
evacuate students and staff out of the building.
Officer went enroute to the fire panel to
discovered where the fire alarm was sounding
from. While enroute staff informed Officer that
there was no fire and that the cleaning crew was
operating the poppcorn machine popping the
popcorn directly under the fire censor causing

Police Officer was notified concerning a writing
on the wall and stall door in the women's
restroom at 1990 Airport Blvd. Officer arrived at
approximately 11:55am and after investigation
determined that graffiti writing was on the
handicap stall door and on the wall in the
women's restroomn room# 140. Officer meet
with the complainant, in her office room# 148
and interviewed her in regards to the graffiti
writing. I walked into the women's restroom and
observed graffiti writing on the wall and handicap
restroom stall door. I took a photo of the graffiti
with my cell phone camera. I checked all the
other restroom's in the building and found no
other graffiti. I filled out a Houston Community
College Burglary-Damage Report form and
called dispatch for case numbers. I then
gathered the necessary information and made a
report.

On 1-11-2011 at approximately 1655 HCC
Police Officers were approached by a male who
wanted to return a wallet he found at a Volvo
dealership parking lot. The male turned the
wallet into the Spring Branch campus Police
Dept. Officer was approached by a W/M who
stated he found a wallet of a HCC student in the
Volvo dealership parking lot off I 10 freeway
(Katy freeway). After investigating I found the
wallet to belong to a HCC student. I inventoried
the wallet and made contact with owner. I
informed the complainant where to pick up her
wallet from. I contacted the HCC Police
Dispatch for a case number and event number. I
generated a found property report in crimestar. I
created a chain of custody.

a bookstore patron, who informed us the suspect
had taken items and put them in his pockets.
Officers detained one suspect, issued a criminal

theft at Cosmetology Building Suite 200 that is
located at 7015 Gulf Freeway Houston, Texas in

that a theft have occurred. Officers interviewed
reportee, at the Cosmetology and Barber
College in regard to a theft of an overhead
projector. Officers then instructed reportee to
write out a statement and to complete

Officers then went to the classroom 3 on the
second floor of the Cosmetology and Barber
College Building to investigate if there were

On 1-14-2011 at approximately 1405 hours HCC
Police Officers were notified by bookstore
employees in reference to a medical assist.
Officers arrived at approximately 1407 hours and
after investigation determined that a student
passed out at the bookstore. Officers gathered
all necessary information for this report. HFD 08
and Squad 07 arrived at approximately 1404
hours. An unknown victim who was later
identified was lying on his back in between the
registers. The Victim was conscious and
breathing. HFD assessed the victim and
transported him to the ambulance. The victim
refused medical treatment and insisted
everything was okay. The victim signed a refusal
form and left on foot. I gathered all necessary
information from the victim. The victim stated to
HFD that he has had prior occasions of passing
out due to him not eating for such a long period
of time. The victim was released at
approximately 1415 hours in good condition. The
victim stated he was going to catch the bus
home. HFD 08 and Squad 07 departed at
approximately 1415 hours

Officers secured the door and made a report.
On 01-18-11 at approximately 09:00 am, HCC
Police Officer was dispatched to a call
concerning a minor accident at 3200 Main
(parking garage). At 9:15am Officer met with the
reporting parties on the 4th floor near the police
department. Officer interviewed and gathered all
the necessary information needed for an
Accident Report Refusal and gave both parties
the HCC case number.

Officer obtain the lost property and made contact
with the owner. The owner received the

On January 18, 2011 at 1315 hours, I HCCPolice Officer was approached by a student on
the 1st floor by the campus police office who
requested a theft report of a wallet in the third
floor lobby area. Student indicated she had left
the wallet unattended and when she went to
retrieve it was missing.
I called the help desk and inquired if a wallet
was turned in with negative result.

concerning a disturbance at the New Learning

On 01-19-2011 at approximately 1500 HCC
Police Officers were patrolling the campus when
a fire alarm was heard from the Science Hall at
the Spring Branch campus. Officers arrived at
approximately 1500 and after investigation
determined that a pull station was pulled causing
the alarm to go off.
I approached the front of the Science Hall the
majority of the people inside had already left the
building. I check the fire panel which informed
me the alarm was activated because of a pull
station which had been pulled in the Commons.
HCC Security Officer Q. Adams and I searched
the Science Hall and The Commons. Upon
searching the building there was no evidence of
any fire or smoke. I advised dispatch of the
situation. Officer Adams reset the pull station
and alarm panel.

but could not because someone had already
registered using his social security number.
After an investigation it was determined that
someone did attempt to register for classes
using his social security number.
The Officer met with the complainant and
reportee. I advised my supervisors of the
incident. I gathered all the person identifiers from
the complainant and reportee. I interviewed the
complainant and the reportee. Officer gave the
complainant and reportee voluntary statements
to fill out about the incident. I contacted HCC
PD Investigation Division and informed them of
this incident. Upon my investigation I was able

number. I found the student to be a Hispanic
female name. I check the school records of this
female. I found she did attempt to register for
school since 2009 but has not completed the
process. I made contact with the female at
approximately 1550. She agreed to come up to

Upon further investigation it was found that the
female social security number was the exact
same number as the complainant except hers
ended with a 1 and the complainants a 4. It was
determined that some must have misread or
type the numbers in wrong during the female
enrollment process.

approached by HCC Economics Instructor,
Smith Austin, who said to me that his laptop
computer had been stolen out of his vehicle.
Officer's Actions:
Mr. Smith came to the Police Office of the
Northline Campus where he gave me his
personal information through a field interview.
He said his vehicle showed no marks of a forced
entry. He then made a phone call and obtained
the information(model number and serial
number) on the stolen computer. He said he
wanted a copy of this report and I said when the
report is finished by tomorrow, he could ask Lt.
Martinez for a copy.
