ACTIVATION IS A SNAP
Follow these easy steps to start using your phone right away.
1. INSERT YOUR SIM AND CHARGE YOUR BATTERY
• Detach the SIM from the SIM card located in this box, and insert the SIM into your phone.
• Keep the SIM card nearby as you will need the SIM serial number to set up service.
HOW TO INSERT YOUR SIM CARD:
SIM card slot location may vary by device.
1. Power the phone off.
2. Remove the back cover.
3. Lift out the battery.
4. Slide the SIM card into the
SIM card slot with the gold
contacts facing down.
5. Replace the battery.
6. Replace the back cover.
7. Power on your phone.
2. LOCATE YOUR PHONE SERIAL NUMBER
• Your serial number (IMEI) is located on the side of the phone box.
• This number will inform the T-Mobile® service team that you are to receive
a $50 bill credit from ShopHQ.
• Your $50 credit will show up as a service credit on your first bill.
3. DIAL 1-844-BUYSHQP (1-844-289-7477) TO SET UP SERVICE AND ACTIVATE SERVICE CREDIT
• Service credit bought through ShopHQ cannot be activated online or at retail. You must call 1- 844- BUYSHQP to
receive your $50 service credit and activate your service. We will help you select the plan that is right for you.
• Call centers are open daily from 3 a.m. to 10 p.m. PT.
• To transfer your existing number, don’t cancel your existing service! It will automatically be canceled when your
number transfer is complete. You will need your account information, including your PIN and password. Transferring
your number (from your carrier to T-Mobile) may take several days to complete. You may be without service during the
transfer process. Some restrictions apply.

Once you have activated your service, you can easily access your account online to check minute and message
usage, view or pay your bill, change your plan or services, and get support for your phone. Establish your account
at www.my.t-mobile.com.

Eliminate the hassle of remembering to pay your bill each month by signing up for EasyPay. To sign up, log into
your account on www.my.t-mobile.com, and select Billing.

For peace of mind, protect your handset from loss, theft, accidental damage and mechanical or electrical
breakdown, and enjoy fast delivery of replacement devices. Service must be activated within 14 days
