make sure the enrollment is done carefully. You will need your social security number for
registration. Also, in order to take the online version of the course, you need an active,

1. Completion of course(s) is/are the sole responsibility of the student.
2. An official transcript for each completed course must be sent to the Registrar’s Office by May 1st.
3. A maximum of two external course credits (courses outside of District 205) may be applied
towards graduation requirements. Students may use only one external credit per academic
subject.
4. A final examination is required of all students. Final exams must be administered by the
approved institution. BYU students must schedule to take the final exam in the SSC Testing
Center.
5. BYU students who have chosen to complete the paper version of the course are advised to make
copies of all assignments before submitting them. BYU will not give credit for papers lost in the
mail.
6. External Credit Recovery Options may be used only to make up credit for a course that a student
has previously failed.
7. South Suburban College may require a placement test. Remedial level courses, course numbers
below 100, are not accepted for high school credit with the exception of some math courses.
