A unit price is a price for one unit of a product. The unit price of an item
can be its price per ounce, per pound, per hour, or any unit of measure.
Some unit prices are $0.19 per ounce, $3.99 per pound, and $8.00 per hour. Notice that
these unit prices could also be written as $0.19 per 1 ounce, $3.99 per 1 pound, and $8.00
per 1 hour.
