Important Information for Your Uc Davis Student Account During the Summer Fees UC Davis students attending Summer Sessions will be charged their fees per unit registered. For a detail of Summer Fess, please refer to the Summer Sessions website. Billing Information Summer Session One and Summer Special Session – Billing Statement available May 22, 2015 Summer Session Two – Billing Statement available June 22, 2015 If you register for any of the sessions after the dates established above, you will not receive a billing statement for that session, you are responsible to pay your fees by the fee payment deadlines in order to avoid the Drop for Non-Payment process. You can see a complete detail of your student account online at MyBill Should you choose to re-register after being dropped for non-payment, a $110 late fee will be assessed to your account and you will need to pay both the Summer Session One fees and the $110 late registration fee. Please note that the $110 late registration fee will be assessed to your account after the system posts your Summer Session One payment and it will generate a new bill for this fee. Fee Payment Deadline Summer Session One – June 15, 2015 Summer Session Two – July 15, 2015 For a detail of Summer Sessions deadlines, please visit the Summer Sessions website. Fees not paid by the Fee Payment Deadline are subject to Drop for Non-Payment. ^The drop for non-payment process is not applicable to courses in Special Session. Financial Aid NEW THIS YEAR: Summer is considered one term for financial aid purposes. To be eligible for summer aid, you must be enrolled or waitlisted in at least six (6) units total during the summer term. If you are combining units between Session One/Special Session AND Session Two to equal at least 6 units, financial aid may not disburse until Session Two. For detailed information regarding Financial Aid for the summer, please refer to the Summer Financial Aid website. Prior to the payment deadline, all authorized aid for the term will be credited to your UC Davis student account. This will appear as Estimated Financial Aid and will apply towards your balance due. You can view your current balance and account details online at MyBill. UC Davis Students attending other UC Campuses or Student from Other UCs attending UC Davis during the summer, please refer to the Summer Financial Aid website for details regarding your summer aid. Refunds Financial Aid Refunds – In order to receive a refund your aid has to be disbursed to your account. Aid on estimated status won’t be disbursed and refunds won’t be issue until all requirements are met. If there is a credit balance after your Estimated Financial Aid is posted, you will receive a refund. Refunds will be available the following days: Summer Session One and Special Session – Starting June 22, 2015 Summer Session Two – Starting August 3, 2015 If you are taking at least 6 units during Session One and also attending Session Two, your aid will disbursed during Session One, your fees for Session One and Two will be paid and you will receive a refund during Session One. Please note no additional refunds will be issued during Session Two, you are responsible for managing any refund received for all expenses while attending summer session(s) at UC Davis. If you are taking less than 6 units during Session One and/or Special Session, and will have additional units in Session Two totaling more than 6 units, your refund won’t be issued until Session Two. Over Payment Refunds – Refunds for overpayments or cancellation/withdrawal from classes won’t be issue until after the 10th day of instruction has passed. To be eligible for a refund of fees, students must drop the class(es) they no longer wish to take or submit a Cancellation/Withdrawal from by the deadline for each session as posted on the Summer Sessions Field Courses are non-refundable and courses held during Special Session have variable refund dates. Refer to the specific course details for the refund date. To expedite your future refunds we strongly encourage you to sign up for Direct Deposit. It allows a student to have their funds transferred electronically into a bank account of their choosing. It’s the fastest, most secure way to receive refunds at UCD. Deferred Payment Plan (DPP) Overview The UC Davis Deferred Payment Plan (DPP) is available during the summer for Session One and Session Two individually and allows for eligible tuition and fees to be paid in two monthly installments due by the 15th of each month. Students or their authorized users can self-enroll in DPP at MyBill Only students who owe at least $150 in tuition and document fee after all discounts, financial aid, and other credits have been applied to their account can choose to defer payment. Under the deferred payment plan, prior-term balances, plus plan application fee and non-deferrable charges must be paid in addition to the first installment in order to avoid Drop for Non-Payment process. You will not be fully enrolled in the Deferred Payment Plan until the first payment is received. A non-refundable application fee of $15 applies to participate in DPP each session. Students can choose to enroll in DPP each session. You can participate in only one session or both. If you are enrolled in both sessions and would like to participate in DPP during both sessions please note the following: In order to enroll on DPP for Summer Session Two, your account has to be up to date. Students with outstanding debt for Summer Session One or prior terms cannot enroll in the plan until the outstanding amount is paid in full. You will have two installments due on July 15 o Summer Session One – 2nd Installment o Summer Session Two – 1st Installment Both installments must be paid in order to avoid the Drop for Non-Payment process.
