Psalm 37:7-10 Rally the troops! “Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret, it only leads to evildoing. For evildoers will be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord, they will inherit the land. Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more; and you look carefully for his place, and he will not be there.” -David Verse 34 says, “When the wicked are cut off you will see it.” 29 says, “The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.” 28 says, “For the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His godly ones.” These verses are a great comfort and encouragement for all those in fear of the times ahead. As we watch all the restraints come off in the laws of our land so that we do greater and greater things that provoke God’s anger towards us and those who are opposed to God get a louder and louder voice. Verse 19 says, “And in the days of famine they(the righteous) will have abundance, but the wicked will perish.” Verse 3 says, “Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.” God is telling us, “Hold your ground! Turn from evil yourselves and conduct yourselves honorably in My sight and you will see things turn back to righteousness.” We shall look for the wicked and shall not find them. This is the time to seek the Lord more earnestly then ever. He has promised to uphold us and to restore the land once more to righteousness. The only ones who shall be in dread are those who are outspoken in their defiance of God’s laws. God is indeed coming to our defense and will restore all things. So I want to encourage you all to entrench yourselves in your prayer closets and not to budge from your position of praying for revival and expecting a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit from God. Do not be shaken or tremble at these events for you belong to God and are upheld by His hand! He will establish you and you will see justice come to pass against the plagues of unrighteousness that have over-run our land. God is coming to our defense that we might no longer have to endure the adultery and violence that has taken over every facet of our society. All manner of lust and wickedness is spewed out and the Lord is going to dry it up at its roots. Yes our land is due for a shake-up but it is for our good and to restore righteousness and the fear of God. So let us not panic but join together united in prayer for a complete restoration of righteousness! May God fill each of our hearts with renewed courage and zeal for the King of Kings! He is faithful and will bring forth salvation and righteousness! God bless you all! Feb.11,09 Written by a fellow servant of Jesus -Seth
