The NCCC and provides free, expert consultation to 1300+ health care providers each month across the United States through three telephone services: • National Perinatal HIV Consultation and Referral Service (Perinatal HIV Hotline): 24/7 • National Clinicians’ Post-Exposure Prophylaxis Hotline (PEPline): 6 am – 11 pm PST • National HIV Telephone Consultation Service (Warmline): 6 am – 5 pm PST NCCC is based at UCSF/SFGH in the Department of Family & Community Medicine with joint faculty members from the UCSF/SFGH Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. It is the only national consultation service of its kind. The NCCC team utilizes an integrated approach to consultation, with a staff of HIV specialists from many disciplines including clinical pharmacy. Join our team as a UCSF adjunct faculty member and provide consultation on all three lines. In addition, there is potential to play a key role on the National Perinatal HIV Hotline. Working knowledge of HIV guidelines, excellent teaching skills and warm regard for our callers is a must. This position also provides overnight, on-call coverage and contributes to educational sessions and call review. This is a part- to fulltime position. Current CA RN/medical license required, board certification preferred.
