The special issue will be published under the Guest Editorship of Professor Samir Saadi (University of Ottawa). Original contributions on the theme are invited, including but not limited to: - Corporate Governance in Emerging Markets - Financial Crisis, Corporate Governance and Corporate Risk-Taking - Corporate Governance and Crash-Risk - Institutional Investment Horizon and Business Ethics - Media Coverage and Corporate Investment Decision - Media Coverage and Corporate Social Responsibility - Media Coverage, CEO Turnover and Corporate Risk-Taking - Political Connection, Firm Performance and CEO Turnover - Social Media and Managerial Behavior - Social Media and Investors Behavior - Corporate Social Responsibility and Executive Compensation - Corporate Social Responsibility and Firm Innovation - Privatization and Business Ethics - Privatization and Corporate Risk-Taking - National Culture and Corporate Governance Submission Process: Research Zone Learning Zone Teaching Zone Multimedia Zone Authors whose papers are accepted for presentation at the conference are encouraged to submit their papers to Studies in Economics and Finance special issue at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/sef and should specify in the abstract that the manuscript is a "2014 TSFS conference paper". Full paper submission deadline is January 31, 2015. There is no submission fee. Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All papers are refereed through a peer review process.
