Group since it beginning in 2003.
Design, Construction and Operations of multiple phases of a freeway management system along Interstate 4 in Central Florida between 1990 and
2006. This included privatization of the operations of the Traffic
Management Center.
Design, implementation and operations of a “511” motorists information service covering all major roads in Central Florida and the intestate system for the entire state beginning in 2002.
Design, construction and operations of a real time traffic network covering
125 centerline miles of major arterials in Central Florida beginning operations in 2005. The network utilizes both toll transponder readers and license plate readers.
Design and construction of numerous traffic signal systems throughout
Central Florida between 1980 and 2000.
Implementation of the Central Florida ITS Consortium in 2000. This group of 15 governments coordinates all ITS activities in Central Florida and facilitates joint project activities such as sharing of fiber optic communications.
