Call for Ph.D.
PhD Forum (not limited to):
Proposals on contemporary topics and recent developments in the field
of VLSI Design,Test, Verification and various areas of the conference
are especially welcome.
Submission Details:
PhD Forum presentation proposals should be submitted to VDAT 2016
submission site under PhD forum submission category
 Full contact address, with affiliation, phone, fax and email;
 Title and summary describing the novelties and advantages of
the thesis work (in not more than 1600 words in PDF).
Additional figures and references may be included but should
not exceed one page.
 Either (a) an approval of Thesis proposal (PDF) from the
University/Institute, or (b) one published paper (PDF).
Eligibility:
The following two classes of students working in the area of VLSI
Design, Test,
Embedded Systems, Nanoelectronics, or Computer Aided Design, are
eligible:
 Students who have finished their PhD thesis within the last 24
months, and
 Students who are close to finishing their thesis work.
In case of a tie in evaluation, preference for the award may be given to
the poster with a girl student.

 A poster and oral presentation for 15 minutes (with demo if
applicable) at the PhD forum
