Research
The majority of the faculty’s research work takes place within the CEREFIGE
research laboratory of University of Lorraine and focuses on three axes:
Management, Behavior & Organization, Governance & Regulation, and
Federating Innovation, Regions & Entrepreneurship.

Since 1905, ICN has been the leading Business School in eastern France,
in the heart of Europe. The school’s identity and growth are based on the
links between management, technology, and art in today’s economy and
the economy of tomorrow. A member of the business school section of the
Conférence des Grandes Ecoles and of the Ecricome testing consortium,
ICN is also a part of the ARTEM alliance established in 1999 with two other
renowned institutions in the region (Mines Nancy and the Ecole Nationale
Supérieure d’Art de Nancy, ENSA). ICN is EQUIS and AMBA accredited and
is a member of AACSB. The school’s distinctive brand is based on the
personal development of its students, stimulated through close support
from the school, the cultivation of openness to other cultures, and significant practice working in teams and on concrete projects.
Location
ICN Business School has 4 campuses: Nancy, Metz, (France), Nuremberg
(Germany) and Cjengdu (China) with offshore Bachelor programs in Algeria
and Senegal as well as 4 recruiting offices abroad. The city of Nancy, located
100 kilometers from Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg, and midway
between Paris and Strasbourg, is naturally open to Europe. The centrality
of this location is consolidated by the high-speed train line that connects
Nancy with Paris in just 90 minutes. Nancy is an important student center
that welcomes thousands of international students at University of Lorraine.
A culturally and economically dynamic city, Nancy has also been ranked as
France’s most internationally open city. ICN contributes by attracting more
than 650 international students each year.
