MOVE OVER MOZART/PIANO CLASSES
A piano-learning program in which children participate in musical activities and learn from each
other as well as their teacher. Learn to play familiar tunes on the piano, read music, and basic music
theory for lifetime of musical enjoyment. Having a piano at home is recommended but not required.
There will be a class recital. A one-time $10 materials fee is payable to instructor due at first class

CAMP-MOVIEMAKING 101: COMMERCIALS
This course will explore the art of shooting TV commercials. We will write scripts, cast actors from
our class, shoot, edit and present our projects. Kids will gain insights to scriptwriting, directing,
acting, videography, set decoration and props, makeup and wardrobe, editing and teamwork needed
to produce television commercials. This class is a wonderful prerequisite for Movie Making 102 in

THE SPANISH CASTLE – SPANISH LANGUAGE SUMMER CAMP
The Little Spanish Castle teaches the Spanish Language using educational learning games, themed

ETIQUETTE-YOUNG LADIES AND GENTLEMEN II
This course in a natural follow-up to Young Ladies and Gentlemen I. One of the first social settings
that children encounter is being a guest. Learning how to be a gracious guest, guest of honor, or
host, are skills they will use lifelong. Boys and girls will learn about invitations, being a great guest
and host, practice meeting and greeting others, polite conversation, giving and receiving gifts, basic
table manners while neatly eating birthday cake, and how to create their own thank you notes. It is
not necessary to have taken Young Ladies and Gentlemen I to enroll in Young Ladies and
Gentlemen II. Cake will be served in this class.

HATHA YOGA

NAGINATA
This Japanese martial art shows both power and grace. It is characterized by the grandeur of its
sweeping movements of the Naginata, a Japanese sword on the end of a six foot pole. This art is for
people of all ages interested in either competitive fighting, or in the physical beauty of choreographed, practiced movements called kata.

SYMETRA BELLEVUE FAMILY 4TH
With rockets' red glare, bombs bursting in air, and a jam-packed lineup of festivities, the 2013
Symetra Bellevue Family 4th will bring the Eastside's largest Independence Day celebration and
fireworks show to Bellevue Downtown Park. The event features the Bellevue Parks Family Fun
Zone, an international food court, live entertainment on the main stage, formal presentation of the
colors, and a C-17 Globemaster III fly over. When twilight fades, the Bellevue Youth Symphony
Orchestra will play a rousing Independence Day tribute set to the Eastside's largest fireworks
display. This event is co-produced by the City of Bellevue and the Bellevue Downtown Association
and sponsored by Symetra.
