In response to the government’s upcoming review of prison education, November’s newsletter will look at the aims of educational parenting programmes within prisons, with their potential positive effects for the children of offenders, and the rehabilitation agenda as a whole. We’ll also showcase new additions to the i-HOP website, highlight learning opportunities and look ahead to some exciting upcoming features. i-HOP, now 3 months in to its third year of service delivery, is a one-stop information hub supporting professionals to Pact’s Time to Conn consider the children and families of from prison, culminat offenders in their work. Safe Ground’s flagship Fathers Inside programme has awarded over 5,000 qualifications to participants since 2003. It examines the role and responsibilities of fathers and looks at child development through creativity & drama.
