ADVISORS:
School of Music faculty members serve as academic advisors to students. The Academic Advisor’s
name and email address was included in an email sent earlier this month. To reconfirm your assigned
Academic Advisor, please contact the Academic Affairs Office.

REGISTRATION DETAILS:
Before you can begin registering for courses, you must set –up your Enterprise ID and password
online at: https://eas.admin.uillinois.edu/eas/servlet/FirstTimeUsers.
Registration Help: The Academic Affairs staff will be available in Room 5047 MB from 9:00 am –
12:00 noon to assist students with registration questions. Please meet with your academic advisor
before attending this session.
For DMA and MM students: Pending the results of the entrance exams, departmental holds are
preventing registration. The departmental hold will be lifted by 9:00 am Friday, August 23.

AUDIO NEEDS:
The School of Music employs highly skilled audio engineers who can record recitals or audition CDs.

COMPUTER LABS & WIRELESS:
CAMIL I and CAMIL II are music-computer labs housed in the Music Building. CAMIL I (5047);
CAMIL II (1164). See each room for details regarding hours of operation.
Wi-Fi is available in most of the classrooms and public spaces in the Music Building, Smith
Memorial Hall and the Krannert Center. To configure your computer to connect to the Illinois

GRADUATE COLLEGE:

TRANSPORTATION:
The campus and Champaign-Urbana Community are serviced by the CU Mass Transit District
(www.cumtd.com). All students are encouraged to use this service, free with Student ID, when
traveling to and from campus. Meters are typically $1.00 per hour, and parking garages such as the
Krannert Center are open to the public after 5:00 pm M-F and all day Saturday and Sunday. If parking
on campus, read the parking restrictions in order to avoid being fined or towed!
