c. Create a folder to store all your work for this class, and save this

identifying information and write it down. This will be the model number,
and possible a serial number. At this point you have two options:
a. Take a picture of your motherboard and label all the major
components such as ram, expansion slots, onboard ports, etc.
Or:
b. Research your motherboard by going to google and doing a search
with the model number or serial number. Find a photograph that is
already labeled. If you find pictures, but none are labeled, then just
save one of the pictures and label it.
c. Save your image into the folder you created. Call it “labeled
motherboard”.
3. As part of your google search, find the technical data for the motherboard.
This is information that includes chipset, processor type, ram capabilities,
etc.
a. Find the specs for your motherboard.
b. Save them in a convenient format. If you find the info in a PDF
document, save the PDF. If not, try copying and pasting into a word
document.
