The quaint historic Town of Wentworth located in beautiful Rockingham
County, North Carolina, is the location for this new event! We are advertising, inviting and collaborating with people from our surrounding area along with many from out of state. Mayfest includes handcrafted arts and crafts, plants and flowers, booths that feature local organizations, fun games and activities for kids, great local musicians, performers and food trucks with delicious local food!
Vendor Rules and Regulations: Please read carefully as some things have changed from previous years.
1.
SHOW HOURS Saturday 11 am – 9 pm-4pm.. All artists/vendors are expected to be present for the duration of the show. The event will proceed rain or shine.
2.
BOOTH SPACE is 10ft x 10ft allowing approximately 2 ft. between booths. Each booth must be set up so as to not interfere with other vendors with all displays and supplies confined to the 10ft x 10ft booth space. No boxes, supplies etc. are to obstruct pathways for foot traffic.
All tents or canopies must be fire retardant and can be inspected by the
Fire Marshal. Tents/canopies must be appropriately weighted down with consideration for windy conditions. Tables must be draped.
3.
BOOTH CHARGES The charges for each space are $50 for arts and
crafts vendors and $50 for organizations. Vendors are required to submit payment for booth charges PRIOR to the start of Mayfest.
Failure of payment will result in denial of booth space. Payments received after the 5 th of May must be cash including the $35 late fee
(See Below).

APPLICATION DEADLINE is April 14, 2015. Applications received after that date should include a $35 late fee. Please submit application early. Spaces are assigned on a first-come basis.
5.
SET-UP TIME AND UNLOADING begins at 8am on Saturday, May
16. Once unloaded, vehicles must be quickly moved to designated vendor Please submit 3 photos of your arts/crafts, products with a brief description. Please include a photo of your booth. You may email these to info@artsinrockingham.org.
6.
There will be a $25 returned check fee. No postdated checks will be accepted.

We reserve the right to deny any application at the discretion of the vendor coordinator.

I have read, understand and agree to abide by the rules of Mayfest. I understand that the Rockingham County Arts Council and/or the Town of Wentworth, NC will not be responsible for any damages, theft or loss during the event. No food or drinks are to be sold in the craft or vendor booths. This is an outdoor event with no rain date. No refunds will be given after acceptance of application.
