Balbir Singh r/o B-5, G.No.18, Mahendra Park, Adarash Nagar New Delhi aged 37 Yrs, the mastermind, main accused and conspirator of the sensational case of kidnapping for ransom and murder of Sh. Dinesh Kumar Aggarwal a businessman r/o A-3 West Jyoti Nagar, Delhi has been apprehended. Mastermind, accused Suresh Malik hatched the conspiracy of the sensational murder. Accused Suresh Malik deliberately fled away after the murder of the businessman in order to avoid his arrest. On 20/8/2014 master mind Suresh Malik along with his accomplice Pradeep picked up Sh. D.K. Aggarwal in his car on the pretext of feast near the residence of the deceased. After few hours, his accomplice Indervesh made 4/5 telephonic calls to Ashu son of the deceased for ransom of Rupees 3 Crores. TEAM: On receipt of information of kidnapping and demand for ransom , 9 dedicated police teams under the close supervision of Addl. DCP-I/NE, ACP/Ops/NED, ACP/Gokalpuri , SHO/Jyoti Nagar , Insp. Narender Singh (IO) and Insp. Sunder Lal, Insp. Spl. Staff were constituted and put on the job to apprehend the kidnappers. INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION: The kidnappers made telephonic calls for ransom from the mobile of the victim. On the basis of location of mobile of the victim, the raids were conducted and traps were laid down at different places in Delhi and Haryana. On 20/8/2014 the accused persons switched off the mobile phone of the victim at about 6.30 PM. At about 8.30 PM accused persons shot dead the victim. Several raids were conducted at residence and hide outs of most wanted master mind Suresh Malik. Ultimately , he has been arrested by the police of PS. Jyoti Nagar on 02/9/2014. He is being produced before the Ld. Court in order to obtain his P.C. Remand for further Investigation of the case and to unearth the whole conspiracy of crime as well as to affect the recovery. COMMISSIONER OF POLICE NORTH EAST DISTT. : DELHI PRESS RELEASE NORTH-EAST DISTT Dated: 03.09.2014 SLEUTHS OF PS NAND NAGRI HAVE BUSTED A GANG, INVOLVED IN PREPARING FORGED VOTER I-CARDS, CASTE CERTIFICATES, BIRTH CERTIFICATS ETC. BY ARRESTING FOUR PERSONS NAMELY (1) DEV KISHORE s/o DHARAMPAL AGED 35 YEARS (2) QUADIR ALI s/o SHABIR ALI AGED 22 YEARS (3) ALI HASAN @ SHAHID s/o MOHD. SALIM AGED 30 YEARS (4) RAJESH KUMAR s/o BASANT LAL AGED 34 YEARS. INCIDENT A secret information was received by SHO/ Nand Nagri that a gang involved in preparing forged Voter I-Cards, Caste Certificates, Birth Certificates etc. is operating from Shani Bazar road adjacent to SDM Office, Nand Nagri. Const. Rajiv No.571/NE was directed to develop the information. After confirming the information a plan was chalked out to trap the gang members red handed. Further acting on the plan Const. Rajiv posed as bogus applicant and approached one Ali Hasan to get one Voter I-Card prepared at short notice, the deal was stuck for Rs. 1,000/-. On 01.09.2014, Const. Rajiv paid Rs. 500/- as advance for the work to Ali Hasan and handed over his photograph and address to him, who promised to deliver the Voter I-Card on 02.09.2014. On 02.09.2014, a team of PS Nand Nagri laid a trap near the place and time fixed for the delivery of the Voter ICard. At 6:10 PM, Ali Hasan met Const. Rajiv at fixed place Sona Photostat, Shani Bazar Road, Sunder Nagri adjacent to SDM Office Complex, he took the balance of Rs. 500/-(a signed note) and signaled a man addressed as Rajesh present in the shop to hand over the Voter I-Card. The waiting raiding party swooped to action and apprehended both Ali Hasan and Rajesh. On the statement of Const. Rajiv case FIR No. 865/14 dated 02.09.2014 u/s 420/467/468/471/120-B IPC was registered in Police Station Nand Nagri and investigation was taken up. Salim r/o B-350, Gali No. 16, Shri Ram Colony, Rajeev Nagar, Delhi (2) Rajesh Kumar s/o Basant Lal r/o D-1/1313, Gali No. 32, Harsh Vihar, Delhi and over powered them. The accused persons were put to sustained interrogation and on the basis of their interrogation and disclosures, two more gang members namely (1) Dev Kishore s/o Dharam Pal r/o H. No. 742, Gali No. 9, Village-Mandoli, Delhi, (2) Quadir Ali s/o Sabir r/o M-111, Sunder Nagri, Delhi. The role of other associates and SDM office employees is under investigation. MODUS OPERANDI The gang would work in a very organized manner. Ali Hasan and Rajesh Kumar would entice the innocent and needy customers promising them quick delivery of Voter ICard for a nominal payment of Rs. 1,000/-, Caste and Birth Certificates etc. for anything between Rs. 5,000/- to 10,000/- depending upon the urgency of the person. They will charge advance money to ensure that the customer comes to them at fixed time and place for the delivery of the I-Card/Certificate. Shop, Sona Photostat, Shani Bazar Road was the place fixed for the delivery of the forged I-Card/Certificate and to receive the balance amount. Quadir Ali and Dev Kishore were the persons responsible to prepare the forged documents using Computer, Scanner, Printer and their sources inside the SDM Office. RECOVERIES: On the basis of the formal interrogation of suspects, so far, 1-Computer, 1Scanner, 1-Printer, 7-forged Rubber Stamps of Govt. officers/offices, 13-forged Caste and Birth Certificates, 3-forged Voter I-Cards, 5-hologram security stickers have been seized in the case. BACKGROUND OF THE ACCUSED The accused persons Ali Hasan @ Shahid, Rajesh Kumar, Dev Kishore and Quadir Ali are just matriculate associated with the sale of stamp papers and either work for Deed writers or are themselves Deed writers. COMMISSIONER OF POLICE NORTH EAST DISTT.: DELHI PRESS RELEASE CRIME BRANCH 03/09/2014 INTERSTATE COUNTERFEIT INDIAN CURRENCY RACKET BUSTED. 2.5960 LACS COUNTERFEIT INDIAN CURRENCY RECOVERED. THREE RACKETEERS ARRESTED. OUT OF RS. 2.5960 LACS COUNTERFEIT INDIAN CURRENCY RS. 2 LACS WERE FOUND WRAPPED IN A BANGLADESHI NEWSPAPER “PRATHAM ALO”. A team of officers of Crime Branch led by Inspr. Ashok Kumar and consisting of SI Ashok Kumar, ASI Ranjeet, Jagdish Pal, HC Devender Kumar, HC Mahesh Tyagi, HC Vinod Kumar, HC Ravinder, HC Krishan, Ct. Bhoop Singh and Ct. Hariom under the supervision of ACP Suresh Kaushik and overall supervision of DCP/Crime Dinesh Kumar Gupta has busted an Interstate Counterfeit Currency Racket. Three racketeers have been arrested and 2.5960 Lacs Indian Counterfeit Currency have been recovered. The trail of Counterfeit currency extends from Delhi to Bihar to West Bengal and subsequently to a neighbouring country. Out of Rs. 2.5960 Lacs Counterfeit Indian Currency, Rs. 2 Lacs Counterfeit India Currency were found packaged in Bangladeshi News Paper namely “PRATHAM ALO”. On 23/08/2014, specific information was received that a person would come to deliver Indian Counterfeit Currency to his contact at Wazirabad Road, Delhi. On this information a trap was laid and a person was apprehended. He was identified as Ashok Mandal @ Bablu (aged 31 years) s/o Sukhdev Mandal r/o Sahibabad, Bhopura, UP. He was carrying a Red and Black Colour bag. The search of the bag revealed two bundles of Indian Counterfeit Currency in domination of Rs. 500/- wrapped in a Bangladeshi News Paper “PRATHAM ALO” Rs. 2 Lacs Indian Counterfeit Currency were recovered. A case under the appropriate sections of the law was registered at PS Crime Branch. Ashok Mandal @ Babloo was subjected to intensive interrogation. It was revealed that he had procured the Indian Counterfeit Currency from Manu Shaw of Nawada, Bihar for circulation in Delhi and National Capital Region. Accordingly, a team alongwith Ashok Mandal @ Babloo proceeded to Nawada, Bihar. Manu Shaw was apprehended from Nawada, Bihar and Rs. 43,000/- Indian Counterfeit Currency was recovered from his possession. He further disclosed that he also provided Counterfeit Indian Currency to Javed of Delhi. On 02/09/2014, Javed (aged 35 years) s/o Abdul Majid r/o Okhla, Delhi has been arrested. Counterfeit Indian Currency Rs. 16,600/- has been recovered. Manu Shaw on interrogation disclosed that he had procured the Indian Counterfeit Currency from his contacts in Malda, West Bengal and they in turn procured the Indian Counterfeit Currency from their contacts across the border. Manu Shaw further disclosed that he procured the Indian Counterfeit Currency at 45% of the value from his Malda based contacts and further provided it to Ashok Mandal @ Babloo and Javed at 55% of the value. Ashok Mandal @ Babloo and Javed further revealed that after getting the Indian Counterfeit Currency from Manu Shaw they further delivered it to their contacts in Delhi and National Capital Region at 65% of the value. NORTH DISTRICT FOUR AUTOLIFTERS ARRESTED INCLUDING GANG LEADER OF “SUNNY GANG” On 02.09.14 a PCR call was received in PS Roop Nagar vide DD No-18A regarding information of one Sunny has come at H. No-25/39 Shakti Nagar Delhi and introduced him as car mechanic and asked for service of vehicle. The car owner Vinita Goyal told him that the service is not due but the wiper of vehicle is not in working order on this Sunny had demanded Rs. 1000/- for repairing and had took away the said vehicle. His 3 other associates were waiting outside the residence of the car owner. The alleged person had not provided his identity or mobile number. After a long wait when the said mechanic had not returned along with vehicle, the complainant made a PCR call. Accordingly a case vide FIR No-355/14 Dt. 2/09/14 U/S 420/406 IPC was registered at PS Roop Nagar and investigation was taken up. INVESTIGATION: During the course of investigation a team consisting of SI Lalit Kumar, ASI Hari Chand, HC Satish Kumar 161/N, Ct. Rajpal No-1019/N, Ct. Pradeep No- 989/N was constituted under supervision of SHO Roop Nagar Insp. Ashok Kumar. The team developed vital clues accordingly and a gang of autolifters has been busted. He was working in readymade garments shop at Kohlapur Road Kamla Nagar. He became the member of Sunny gang, which operates in the area of Shakti Nagar. 2. Pulkit Nanda S/o Sunil Nanda R/o 6153A, Vijay Nagar, Double Story, Delhi age 27 years, he is a active member of Sunny Gang he is working as agent to provide home loan. He studied upto 12th class. 3. Sunny S/o Tara Chand Gang Leader R/o 52/44, A-B-1, Anand Parvat, New Basti Street No-6, Delhi, age 28 years, The key of cheated vehicle has been recovered from his possession and he was in planning to sell the said vehicle. He had prepared this plan at CC Colony Park at about 20 days back. He is also working as a labour in the factory of Chacha (Oil seal) at Anand Parvat, Delhi. 4. Punit @ Ashu S/o Prahlad Singh R/o 299-A, Street No-10, Nehru Nagar, Delhi, age 32 years. He is working as agent to provide home loan with Pulkit Nanda at Gurgaon. He studied upto 12th class.
