Letters From Rifka Family Tree Assignment
Directions: Last week we created Rifka’s family tree on the board. Information
regarding Uncle Avrum’s name can be found on page 14 and information regarding
Rifka’s parent’s and brother’s names can be found on page 40. Today, you will be
creating an presentable illustration on Rifka’s family tree that is both creative,
colorful, and neat. The illustration should be completed on the white paper. Use
crayons, markers, or colored pencils for the details.
Note: Now that we know what Uncle Avrum’s first and last name is, our original
inference on Bubbe Ruth’s children may not be correct. Do not worry about that
connection. Just create the family tree starting from Bubbe Ruth and working your
way down. Include first and last names for characters that the author included that
information for.
