Of the total 36 hours of urban studies requirements up to twelve may be taken at
the 3000 level. At least 18 of the hours (excluding URBN 3002 and MURP 4200)
must be URBN, MURP, or PADM courses.
BSUSP students can take 6000 level URBN, MURP and PADM courses with the
permission of the Instructor and the BSUSP Program Coordinator. A total of 90
credit hours completed and a 3.0 overall GPA is also required before an
undergraduate can take a 6000 level course.

Please Note: the Double Counting of some courses is possible.
Students can double count two courses (for four check sheet slots).
1. Any GIS course double counts as the basic UNO computer proficiency
requirement (CSCI 1000) as well as an URBN course on the check off sheet.
2. The Grant Writing for Planners course double counts as the basic UNO Technical
Writing Requirement (ENGL 2152) and an URBN course on the check off sheet.
