 The present perfect describes situations that started in the past and
continue into the present.
 The present perfect uses a form of the verb have + a past participle.
 Some verbs have the same past tense form and past participle form.

 The present perfect has three different meanings.
 The contractions ´s and ´ve can be used in affirmative statements.
He´s worked here for ten years. They´ve lived in France.
 The contractions hasn´t and haven´t can be used in negative
statements.
I haven´t talked with Dr. Perkins. He hasn´t examined me.
