Researched and wrote undergraduate senior thesis on feminism and formalism Deconstructing Femininity: Martha Graham and the Body Architecture, draws comparisons between Martha Graham’s early works and the theories of Russian Constructivism. The paper also explores Graham’s ideas and movement in contrast to the Art Deco movement and popular film icons of the 20’s and 30’s, specifically silent screen actresses Lilian Gish and Louise Brooks.
