Senior BBB players, spirit squad and band members, pick up your senior night form in the office this morning. They need
to be turned in by the end of the day.
Voting for Sexy Legs and Hot Lips will take place on Wednesday over Lunch.
HPA students please stop by the office today, Tuesday, to pick up an info sheet.
The Yule Ball is Feb. 21 from 8-11 pm. Check out the wall in the commons for all you need to know. Pick up your tickets at
lunch on Friday- THIS IS YOUR LAST OPPORTUNITY TO GET TICKETS FOR $5. They will be sold at the door for $7.
TRACK JR AND SENIORS: If you plan on opting out of PE, you need to pick up an Opt out form from your PE teacher. Have it
signed over the weekend by a parent and turn into the office on Tuesday.
Mr. Holmes will be holding open auditions for Special Edition next Thursday morning at 7:00am. All SPED members and anyone
interested in being in the ensemble should be at auditions next Thursday morning. Mr. Holmes will have something for you to
sing, so you will not need to prepare any music for this audition.
If you are bringing a guest from another school for the Yule Ball on Feb 21st, please pick up your guest form to be filled
out. They are due back to the office on Wed. Feb 18th.
All members of NHS need to log their volunteer hours using the google form emailed to them on their school accounts.
These hours must be turned in asap to continue membership. See Mrs. Kershaw or email with questions.

Sophomores and Juniors planning to attend the Area Career Center next year must turn in a completed
application by February 27th to Ms. Bakener. Classes fill up quickly...so keep in mind it is easier to drop out of
the program than it is to enter the program later on.
The local OHS scholarships are available at this time. There is a master list in the library and in the office. Please check
those out and see what you may be eligible for and pick up your application in the office from Mrs. Jackson. All
applications are due March 2nd.
ST. AMBROSE UNIVERSITY: St. Ambrose will be hosting a Teacher Education Open House for all
interested high school students and parents on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the

Adult Spelling Bee – We are still looking for S-P-E-L-L-E-R-Z!! Sat., Feb 28th starting at 6pm – OHS After Prom will host the
1st ever Adult Spelling Bee at Sidetracked Saloon in Orion. This should BEE a fun event and don’t be I-N-T-I-M-I-D-A-T-E-D
most of the competition is team based. Teams consist of four spellers and the registration fee is $50. Please contact Vicky

The OEF Gala is March 20th at the Camden Center in Milan. The doors open at 6:00 with the auction starting at 7:30.
Be sure to purchase your OEF ticket soon. If you purchase before February 19th, you will be entered into the “Early Bird
Drawing) for a chance at two $100 cash giveaways. Tickets can be purchased through any of our 10 committee members
listed on the attachment, by mailing the attached request to Susan Lee or at Amador Chiropractic or Bank Orion.

Illinois Lumber and Material Dealers Association Scholarship. Seniors planning to pursue industry-related course work may apply for
