Privacy notice pursuant to and by the effect of art. 13 of Law Decree 196 (30.06.2003)
We wish to inform you that Law Decree 196 of June 30th 2003 (“Code for the Protection of
Personal Data”, known hereafter as the “Code”), provides for the protection of people and other
subjects in regards to the treatment of personal data.
In conformity with the Law Decree cited, treatment of personal information will be performed
following the principles of correctness, transparency and protection of privacy and personal rights.
Therefore, under art. 13 of Law Decree 196/2003, we wish to provide you with the following
information:
1. Purpose of use
All data received by our Company will be treated in compliance with the “Code”, to the sole
purpose of the creation and performance of any contractual relationship discussed.
2. Method of use
Your personal information will be handled using paper, computer or telematic means by specifically
appointed persons, and will be treated in compliance with the restrictions and conditions provided
in art. 11 of the Code. The handling of your data will include the operations set out in art. 4, comma
1, lett. a), which are necessary for the treatment in question.
3. Provisions of data and denial of consent
Submission of data is mandatory, as it is instrumental in the performance of contractual duties.
Denial of consent in cases in which the law or contract does not state that provision is mandatory is
optional, and will be assessed by our Company in each case, as to determine the consequent
decisions to be made, in relation to the importance of the data petitioned and not received. The
owner of the Company also wishes to remind you that any failure to provide information, or false
statements in the information issued, will have the following immediate consequences:
 failure on the owner's behalf to guarantee compliance of the data handling process
with contract agreements;
 possible inconsistency of the results of the data handling process with fiscal and
administrative obligations, or obligations resulting from the work to which the data
pertains.
Information will be handled for the entire duration of the contractual relationship established, and
also following the completion of the contract, for all law compliance purposes and for the purpose
of future commercial activities.
In regards to the information provided, you may enforce the rights set out in art. 7 (copy attached)
within the restrictions and conditions determined by articles 8, 9 and 11 of the Code, by addressing
the Company's owner and/or the data handling Manager.
4. Data transmission purposes and field
In the future your data may be transmitted both within and outside the U.E., as well as to the
sectors and individuals listed as follows:
 Employees and managers (both within and outside the company) charged with
performing the necessary fulfillments of contract duties, nominated by the Data
Processor
 Public authorities, agencies and bodies, for the necessary fulfillment fo law
provisions;
 Commercial network, for the necessary fulfillments of contract duties;
 Third parties performing specific collaborations with us for the fulfillment of contract
duties;
 Firms, agencies, consortia and associations dealing market research, information
service management, insurance and credit institutions, within the restrictions and
conditions provided by law.
Any other transmission of your data may be performed solely after obtaining your explicit consent.
The data processing will be performed by our company, Rivadavia Tanning Factory Srl, legal
headquarters located in Via dell'Olmo 20, 56022 Castelfranco di Sotto (PI) (Company data
included in heading), by our Legal Representative.
5. Rights under art. 7 of the Code
You may at any moment exercise your rights by informally addressing the Data Processor– free of
charge, and at any moment – under art. 7 of the “Code”, which, for example, includes the right to
obtain confirmation of the existence of data pertaining to you, their communication in a reasonable
form, information on the origin of the data, on their purpose and method of use, on the identification
numbers adopted by the data processor and/or the data treatment managers, on the subjects to
whom this data may be transmitted or of which they may gain knowledge in virtue of their position
as Data Manager or Employee tasked with data handling, on the updating, correction or integration
of the information, on the elimination or anonymous transformation or block of personal data
handled in violation of the Law, and the right to partially or completely oppose future use of the
data.
