Having achieved many goals in my career as a public employee and as a student, I am interested in expanding
my professional horizons by seeking new challenges. A position with your company appeals to me and I’m
interested in becoming a part of the team. My education, past employment, and most recent employment as a
Technology Educator as part of Penn State Hershey Medical Group’s Cerner/Connected EMR team make me
valuable asset for your team. As a Technology Educator I have created educational materials (pamphlets,
manuals, eLearning modules, etc.), training schedules, assisted with EMR GoLive support, and developed and

manufacturing (Six Sigma Team, Lear Corporation), customer service, corporate communications, SAP, and

Department of Revenue and Hershey Medical Group.
I have enjoyed a reputation as a productive employee and have been recognized as a stellar student. I have a

Instructional Technology (Bloomsburg University). During the 2009 Commencement Ceremony, Central

 Advocated for a “Link to” feature in the OCC/RAPS database. This improvement saves the department
approximately 4 GB of database space and about 200 personnel hours annually.
 Improved OCC database by advocating for the ability to create folders within OCC assignments. The
benefits of this improvement are: (1) better organization, (2) faster screen load times, and (3)
additional file storage.
 Responsible for various time-saving OCC/RAPS database improvements such as the design and
incorporation of additional/varied search functions.
 Analyzed the way employees use the OCC database, so that I could initiate time-saving improvements
that standardize the way certain documents/items are stored and moved in the database; thereby,
increasing consistency in the way administrative functions are executed in OCC.
 Conducted training on how to save e-mails in message format (.msg). This training was well received
and made the importing of e-mails into OCC/RAPS more efficient, and organized.
 Provided computer support and technical assistance to OCC’s staff of 38 employees.
 Prepared, designed, and delivered several “Quick & Easy” training sessions to meet the needs of the
OCC attorneys and administrative staff.
