who came upon the idea for this popular soapie nearly fifteen years ago when he was
living in Melville. Every morning over coffee and breakfast in his favourite coffee shop,
he watched people come and go and started creating his own imaginary suburb with a
variety of characters: an eccentric old man who talks in riddles, and the owner of a

Ten years of being on air has seen this primarily Afrikaans soap grow with a following

audience.
