Using possessive adjectives
In French the words for my, your etc. have masculine, feminine and plural forms –
just as all adjectives do.

mon
ma
mes
your
ton
ta
tes
his/her
son
sa
ses
If the noun is feminine, the
possessive adjective must also be
feminine, e.g. ma mere; if the noun is
plural, the possessive adjective is
plural, e.g. mes frères.
