Dear Colleague,

is increasing tremendously year by year and posing heavy burden on country's
economy. The major risk factors for stroke are diabetes, hypertension,
cardiovascular disease and mental stress. Taking cognizance of rising
incidence of Non-communicable Diseases in the country. National Programme
for Prevention and Control of Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases (CVDs) and
Stroke was launched during the 11th Five-year Plan (2007-2012) and activities
