1) Histophysiology of Nasal cavity at page 348 and
349 is genrally to be superficially read but KEEP IN
Mind that you should understand and read any thing
about the filteration and humidification of air or
generally about air conditioning.
2) Exchange of Gases between the tissues and lungs at
page 362 is to be superficially read .
3) Pleural cavities and the mechanism of ventilations
is to be superficially read EXCEPT that you should
memorize very importantly the composition of its
epithelium and lamina propria.
4) Gross structure of the lungs are to be superficially
read, Including pulmonary vascular and lymphatic
supply are also to be superficially read.
5) All mechanisms are to be superficially read
including the mechanisms of olfaction, ventilations
and phonation,,, but you should of course know the
receptors of olfaction and where they are located…
TOPICS to be concentrated on,
1) type 1 and type 2 pneumocytes.
2) Interalveolar septum.
They are very important…
