INDEPENDENT OIL AND GAS LANDMAN
Business Owner
Aggressively put together Drilling Units with Pioneer Royalty, Inc. and
other partners. I lead all activities to research Court House Records,
compose legal descriptions, prepare oil and gas leases, negotiate lease
terms with mineral owners, file leases and related documents in the
Public record, make lease map plats, and assemble spread sheets with
mineral ownership. These Units or groups of leases were sold or put into
drilling partnerships.
The ability to do curative work for title issues demonstrates my
knowledge of the law in oil and gas leasing, exploration, and production.
My personality, people skills, and aggressive actions enable me to have
success in a competitive environment by building relationships and trust
with mineral owners. Attention to detail, long hours, and hard work
produced an accurate, cost effective, and marketable final product.
Contract work experience as a landman in the offices of Gaither
Petroleum preparing Well Files, due diligence research for acquisitions,
coordinating title research, leasing, and researching HBP and Units.
My contract work for HJA, Inc., Dudley Land, Western Land, and Bajon
in Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana included: Court House research,
identifying and finding mineral owners, preparing leases, negotiating
leases, preparing lease packages, run sheets, and lease “take off” reports.
I am an active member of the American Association of Professional
Landmen (AAPL) , HAPL and WHAPL. I am a Registered Landman (RL)
with plans to test for RPL in March.
2001 to
2003
SOUTHERN SPINE AND JOINT
Owner of distributorship for Spinal Fusion Implants, bone growth
stimulators and knee braces. I managed 2 sub-reps for Miss. and
Louisiana. I represented Spinal Fusion Products, Spine Braces,
and Osteologic bone growth stimulators.
I worked with Orthopedic and Neurosurgeons in surgery and in their
office to promote our Spinal Fusion Products. I coordinated a study with
LSU Neurosurgeons to get outcome data for a new type of Spinal
Fusion Construct to avoid Juxta-fusion failure in the lumbar spine.

2001

Spine Specialist
Managed two territories when I first started. In a short period of time, I
stabilized the territory, organized records and instruments, helped train the
new representative for half of the territory, and grew the business. I have
trained new Doctors, coordinated Calf Spine Demos, and trained Doctors
at a Laparoscopic Pig lab. Job responsibilities include Surgical Case
coverage. I hired and trained my own surgical Consultants to cover spine
cases. Exceeded sales expectations by achieving a ranking of #2 of all
Spine-Tech Representatives in the first Quarter of 2001.

Cure Medical Supply, Inc.
Co-Owner
Durable Medical Equipment, Rehabilitation Equipment, Implantable
Chemotherapy Ports, Sterile Operating Room Packs, and Electric
Wheelchairs were our target markets. We were a Medicare, Medicaid,
Private Insurance, and Private Pay Supplier. Sales went from 0 to
$800,000 in 3rd. year. Closed business due to change in Market
Conditions, lower reimbursement, increased denial of claims, expensive
service/government regulation expenses, and huge capital requirements to
fund inventory and accounts receivable.

1994

Account Manager
Proven industry leader and self-starter with excellent communication skills
with the leader in Hospital Supply Sales and Manufacturing. Consistent
track record of achieving business plans and objectives. Territory size was
in excess of $10 Million with increased business of $2 Million in 1993.
Increased sales and developed new markets by coordinating the sales
efforts of multiple manufacturing entities and their representatives.
Increased the corporation’s annual market share by $8 Million by
obtaining and negotiating contracts with various agencies and state
supported hospitals within Louisiana.
Hand picked to lead, empower, and motivate a team of twelve sales

increased sales to Tulane Hospital by 85%.
