o Proposal

o *Review
o Contribution to a longer entry
o Competition entry

Objectives:
o to improve the expression of ideas through writing
o to select, organize and develop ideas in a piece of writing
o to be able to organize ideas into paragraphs
o to become familiar with the layout and structure of various writing genres
o to use clear, concise, precise, and correct language in their writing - to use appropriate
grammar structures and diverse syntactic structures avoiding grammar and spelling
mistakes, using the right punctuation and a wide range of vocabulary adequate to the topic
o to be able to evaluate and critique one’s own work and that of others for strengths and
weaknesses
